In my quest for finding and sifting through the countless books,articles,blogs,films,audio and art has really opened my eyes and created a center hub of awareness. Our project Transforming Through 2012 bridges worlds and builds a platform to dive into those worlds. The movie coming out of Hollywood about 2012 plans on reflecting the shadow side of options and our project plans on reflecting the lighter side of options.

Mayan Prophesies For 2012 Examined By Florida Newspaper
News Journal Online's Staff writer Patricio G. Bolona took up the subject of 2012 as it relates to the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar and doomsday prophesies in his article, Will 2012 be the end of the world?
Bolona examines the doomsday movie scenario and mentions two contrasting interpretations of Mayan prophecies: Doomsday cataclysm and a shift in consciousness. He then introduces Guatemalan writer, teacher and cultural activist Gaspar Gonzalez, a Mayan scholar fluent in Mayan tongues. His conclusion? It is not the end of the world, but the end of an era.
Interestingly enough, although Mayan priest Martino Katz'im predicts a cataclysmic end by fire and monsters, he says it won't be in 2012.

The Transforming Through 2012 Website Is Launched!
After weeks of planning and several days of finagling details, Debra Giusti and I have finally put up the initial version of http://transformingthrough2012.com/
It is written in the Joomla CMS, so it will support all sorts of cool widgets, news feeds and content contribution from the many authors as well as being search engine friendly.
At this stage of development, the site is up to gather the remaining authors for the upcoming multimedia ebook series.
In weeks to come, we will add additional feeds for related news.

While Debra Giusti is at the 2012 Conference in Los Angeles, I am making the website look like the display on a space ship. It is an interesting trick to get translucent backgrounds to work both of the lettering that is on them as well as the image behind them.
Some say they people from the stars will return. Others say they are already here. Mayans, Hopi Elders and other indigenous peoples have similar messages for us. Will we heed them?

Although some may regard 2012 as doomsday, we would rather interpret the end of the Mayan Long Calendar, the teachings of the Hopi Elders, ancient Sumerian writings about Nibiru and the cosmology of Nassim Haramein as an opportunity for timely transformation of consciousness on planet Earth.
